Founded in 1584, Gosset is the oldest wine house in Champagne and still family-owned. Producing tiny quantities compared to most of the big brands, Gosset is all about quality, and it shows.
The Grande Réserve is a sort of super-non-vintage, made using fruit from only Premier and Grand Cru vineyards and aged for four years (far longer than the required 15 months). A classic blend of 43% Chardonnay, 42% Pinot Noir and the rest Pinot Meunier, it is rich, biscuity and complex. A stunning non-vintage Champagne.
Normally £49.95 a bottle, for a short while longer you can buy it for a starting price of £43.95, dropping further to just £39.56 if you take six or more.
