Featured product
Rosé 2013, Mas des Dames
'This is a very special, juicy, cranberry-scented rosé made from the stalwart trio of grapes Grenache, Syrah and Mourvèdre. It even has a small amount of oak on board...'

On Saturday, Matthew Jukes praised this great little rosé in his Daily Mail column, and we're in full agreement with him on this one. Made by Mas des Dames in the Languedoc, this has long been a Roberson favourite, selling out every year.

With more flavour and body than Provençal rosé, this still manages to be crisp and elegant and goes perfectly with a crab linguine. Currently reduced from £13.95 to just £9.95 a bottle, this is a delicious bargain.

Grande Réserve, Champagne Gosset
Only £39.56 when you buy six or more

Founded in 1584, Gosset is the oldest wine house in Champagne and still family-owned. Producing tiny quantities compared to most of the big brands, Gosset is all about quality, and it shows.

The Grande Réserve is a sort of super-non-vintage, made using fruit from only Premier and Grand Cru vineyards and aged for four years (far longer than the required 15 months). A classic blend of 43% Chardonnay, 42% Pinot Noir and the rest Pinot Meunier, it is rich, biscuity and complex. A stunning non-vintage Champagne.

Normally £49.95 a bottle, for a short while longer you can buy it for a starting price of £43.95, dropping further to just £39.56 if you take six or more.

Mark Quick
Arnot-Roberts North Coast Syrah
Mark Quick, Wine Manager at Hawksmoor recommends Arnot Roberts North Coast Syrah 2012

"A bit of a left-field wine, not exactly what you would expect from a Syrah of The States. Seriously spice laden and herbal, fruit plays second fiddle here. Although that fruit is a deep, concentrated cranberry that sits appropriately in the background. Usually when serving this wine, complete bemusement gives way to complete satisfaction. I think it takes a minute to really get your head around, but it’s definitely worth it. Something perhaps for the adventurer."
